The amount of Co-Mate needed to achieve optimum results varies according to equipment conditions, draft characteristics and fuel quality

• Wood or Coal Stoves, Fireplaces and Furnaces - sprinkle 28g (2 tablespoons) minimum into combustion chamber onto coals or low fire two/three times weekly
• Oil Furnaces - sprinkle or pour 112g (8 tablespoons) 4 ounces monthly into combustion chamber
• Dirty Chimneys - Co-Mate may cause creosote and soot deposits to lose their adhesion and fall. Therefore the chimney should be inspected and cleaned to prevent the possibility of blockage.
