Growing Information
Sow liberally but not too thickly, into finely raked firmed soil or compost in containers, beds or borders at a depth of 13mm (½") in rows 15cm (6") apart. No thinning is necessary. Grows best in well prepared soil manured the previous autumn or a quality compost if grown in containers. Water freely during periods of dry weather. Sow a pinch of seed fortnightly so that small tasty salad onions are always available for the salad bowl. Sowing to Cropping: 10-12 weeks.
