Growing Information
Sow late February-May outdoors in well-cultivated ground manured for a previous crop. Lift for use as required. (32-36 weeks maturity.)
Sowing Information
Sow thinly into finely raked, warm, moist soil at a depth of 13mm ( 1/2"), in rows 30cm (12") apart (Germination 10-28 days). Thin seedlings to 15cms (6") between plants. For exhibition purposes sow 3 or 4 seeds in prepared holes previously filled with finely sieved compost. Thin to strongest seedling. Grows best in well cultivated soil which has not recently been manured, otherwise forked roots may occur.
