ProRep Calcium Sand is produced by using pure natural limestone and grinding it to make it into a sand texture. This means it is pure calcium carbonate that will dissolve if eaten and has a lesser chance of gum impaction. Suitable for all species that require a dry and sandy substrate, this sand can be dampened to provide areas of higher humidity, such as under hides.
