Sweet Pea Fragrant Skies Flower Seeds

Sweet Pea Fragrant Skies Flower Seeds

An attractive Spencer Sweet Pea with large, highly scented, with blooms in shades of blue mixture. Beautiful in the garden, but equally useful for flower arrangements and superb for showing. HA - Hardy annual. Height 1.8m (6'). Scent 2.

Sowing Information

For early flowering sow 3 seeds 13mm ( 1?2") deep per 10cm (4) pot in a greenhouse, or indoors at approximately 13-15°C (55-60°F). Germination 10- 21 days. Acclimatise the plants to outside conditions and plant out in April- May with spacing of 15-23cm (6-9") per plant. Alternatively, sow direct into finely raked, moist, warm, weed-free soil where the plants are to flower, 13mm ( 1?2") deep, in late April-May. Thin seedlings to achieve a final spacing of 15- 23cm (6-9) per plant. Remove the growing tips after 3-4 pairs of leaves have developed to promote more flowers and a bushier plant. May also be sown in September-October in a cold frame/unheated greenhouse to over-winter. Plant out young plants in March-April to provide earliest blooms.
